H&H Engineered Coatings runs NADCAP-accredited plating processes to aerospace standards for fasteners, bushings, landing gear components, structural hardware, and more. We do it right. You get the documentation to prove it.
Plating defects on flight-critical parts don't get second chances. We run a tight shop in Fort Worth with documented process controls, bath chemistry is titrated on a daily or weekly basis, and cert packages that actually hold up when your customer's quality team comes calling. We plate zinc nickel, cadmium, hard chrome, and passivation for OEMs, machine shops, fastener producers, and defense suppliers who don't have room in their schedule for a redo.
Every process tracked from rack to shipment. Specs, thickness logs, and cert documentation go out with every order.
We're not a job shop processing 500 different parts from 200 industries. We focus on aerospace and defense finishing because that's where the tolerance for error is zero. That focus shapes everything: how we control our baths, how we write our travelers, how we answer the phone when you call asking where your parts are.
NADCAP accreditation isn't just a badge we put on the website. It means PRI auditors walked our floor, checked our chemistry logs, reviewed our documentation, and signed off on our processes. We renew it. We maintain it. And we use it to protect your program.
A lot of shops can put metal on metal. Not as many can hand you a NADCAP accredited COC that ties back to bath chemistry records, thickness measurements, and an audited process. We built our documentation system to hold up when it gets tested.

We don't outsource the things that matter. All of this happens under our roof, on your parts, before they ship.

We hold two active NADCAP accreditations. Both are independently audited by PRI. Neither is a self-certification. Look us up on eAuditNet if you need to verify before you put us on your ASL.
NADCAP covers the plating process and the quality management system separately. We hold both. That's not the norm for every shop.
This covers the actual plating processes: zinc nickel, cadmium, hard chrome, and passivation. It's the cert your prime contractor checks before they'll approve us as a source. PRI auditors reviewed our bath controls, our rack procedures, our documentation, and our test data. We passed. We maintain it every audit cycle.
AC7004 covers the quality management system behind the processes. It's a separate audit from the Chemical Processing cert, and it goes deeper: document control, corrective action processes, management review, operator qualification, and system-level quality controls. Most shops only hold one. We hold both.
A PRI auditor walks your floor. Checks your bath chemistry. Pulls your travelers. Reviews your corrective action log. Tests your documentation against the spec. That's what NADCAP accreditation requires. It's not a questionnaire you fill out. It's a verification, on-site, by someone who knows the process.
NADCAP accreditation changes what we can offer you. Here's what it looks like in practice.
